The story of We Store Frozen

A Slice of inspiration

It all began with a simple visit. Mr. Brett Henderson, Vice President of Henderson Distribution, part of the largest pizza distributor in the nation, Hunt Brothers Pizza, stopped by our dry warehouse facility. His inquiry about frozen storage capabilities was the catalyst that opened our eyes to a new horizon. We recognized the immense potential in cold and frozen storage, understanding both its complexities and the significant rewards it offered.

Bold moves, big ambitions

True to our spirit, we love to move fast and think big. This vision materialized in our first We Store Frozen cold storage facility at 2304 Reed Road, Houston, TX 77051. This state-of-the-art 180,000 square foot facility, developed and built by Hines, is strategically located with excellent access to Highway 288 and proximity to downtown Houston.

Innovative and customer-centric

Our facility features five 20,000 square feet rooms, each in total 100,000 square feet, equipped with cutting-edge technology including live cameras, temperature sensors, and AI systems. These innovations allow our customers to monitor their inventory and receive real-time data, ensuring peace of mind and operational efficiency.

Remarkable growth and success

Before we even opened our first freezers, We Store Frozen was 70% sold out, welcoming 65 new customers. This success is a testament to the hard work of our VP of Sales, Courtney Alison, and the dedicated sales team. The strong demand and Houston’s growing economy have brought a diverse stream of customers to our doors, including seven Fortune 500 companies who have made We Store Frozen their preferred partner.
