Airline retailing technology
company ATPCO is introducing a new
solution that it says will “dramatically increase the speed” at which airlines
can craft dynamic offers.
At its Elevate +
TravelConnect conference, co-hosted by ARC, ATPCO introduced its new “Product
Catalogue” solution.
The product is the next step
in the company’s work to enable airlines and sales channels to leverage the existing
infrastructure to create and sell dynamic offers at scale. It’s part of a
strategy ATPCO first announced in October 2022 to get 80% of all airline offers to be generated dynamically by
2026.
“The way to think about that
80% is not that ATPCO is dictating to the industry ‘you need to do this’… it’s
our way to keep track of are we doing what is necessary to lower the barriers
of friction. We have to keep working until we get to 80%.” Zoghlin said.

The new Product Catalogue is
an electronic record of all products and services offered by an airline that
can be used to simplify the creation of an offer that fits what the customer is
looking for, better matching supply and demand.
And it is “backward
compatible,” explained Zoghlin, so existing filed fares can be used to create the
first iteration.
“It is desperately logical,”
said Richard Clarke, founder and CEO of travel technology company T2RL.
“The infrastructure we’ve been
operating on doesn’t give us the opportunity to do this. There have been
massive work-arounds in the structure we have. … This should be cheaper. It’s
less complicated.”
ATPCO is currently doing four
proof-of-concept projects on the Product Catalogue with airlines and sales
channels.
