This year, Iberia is set to achieve a record-breaking number of seats on flights between Europe and Latin America, with a capacity exceeding 5.3 million seats, surpassing last year’s total of nearly 4.6 million. This represents a 16.4% growth compared to 2023, and a 20% increase from pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
Moreover, the airline will increase its flight operations significantly, operating over 320 flights weekly in 2024, up from 280 during last year’s summer and 300 during the previous Christmas season.
Expanding Services Across Key Markets

- Brazil: In Brazil, Iberia plans to enhance its service to Sao Paulo with 14 weekly flights in the upcoming winter season, after gradually increasing from 7 to 10 weekly flights in April and reaching 11 in June, which will continue until September. Meanwhile, Rio de Janeiro will maintain six weekly flights starting June.
