SriLankan Airlines Ensures a Memorable Journey for Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with Exclusive in Flight Services on Sri Lanka Visit

SriLankan Airlines had the honor of being chosen by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, for his recent visit to Sri Lanka, accompanied by 160 of his devotees. The Art of Living Foundation, one of the world’s largest volunteer-driven non-profit organizations, has been actively working in Sri Lanka to foster a stress-free, violence-free, healthier, and happier society.

On May 18, 2024, Gurudev and his devotees were warmly welcomed at Bangalore International Airport by Irushika Alweera, the Area Manager Bangalore for SriLankan Airlines, and the airline’s Bangalore team as they boarded flight UL172. SriLankan Airlines ensured a comfortable and seamless journey, catering to their specific dietary preferences with all-vegetarian meals and providing the highest level of care and attention throughout their travel. The entire trip is being managed by the Art of Living’s in-house travel agency, Sumeru Travels.

SriLankan Airlines is committed to connecting special groups from Karnataka with Sri Lanka and will continue to collaborate with Sumeru Travels to ensure seamless air services between the two countries.

Gurudev’s visit symbolizes the cultural and spiritual ties between Sri Lanka and India, further strengthening the bond between the two nations. During his visit, Gurudev will address a public meeting at the event titled ‘Ekamuthuva’ at Taj Samudra on May 19, 2024. Additionally, he will grace the ‘Kumbabishekam’ event at the Seetha Amman temple in Nuwara Eliya and bless the community.
