The program offers free stays in select partner hotels, enabling travellers to maximize their time in the city.

Through complimentary hotel stays, Indian travellers are invited to discover Istanbul’s vibrant charm, adding cultural immersion and memorable moments to their journey.
The surge in travel interest among Indians post-pandemic has led to a notable increase in visits to European destinations. Turkish Airlines, recognised as one of the world’s top airlines, has become the preferred choice for seamless global journeys. The Stopover in Istanbul program offers an additional benefit for passengers travelling to Europe, providing a complimentary stopover in Istanbul.
Passengers with layovers of at least 20 hours qualify for the Stopover in Istanbul program. Vouchers for free stays are issued upon completion of the application process, which requires providing necessary details such as name, reservation code (PNR), ticket number, preferred accommodation dates, room type, telephone number, and email address.In addition to complimentary accommodation, Turkish Airlines offers Touristanbul, a free layover service for international transfer passengers with layovers ranging from 6 to 24 hours. Travellers can select from a variety of tours tailored to their flight schedule, exploring Istanbul’s iconic historical sites and enjoying authentic Turkish cuisine.
Turkish Airlines’ Stopover Accommodation service is available at 108 destinations across 42 countries, including India. Business Class passengers are entitled to a two-night stay in a 5-star hotel, while Economy Class passengers receive one night in a 4-star hotel.
